Arsene Wenger Predicts Who will Win The Premier League Title

- April 28th, 2019- Sports

Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger, has admitted he is “scared” for Liverpool and expects Manchester City to win the Premier League title.

Sergio Aguero’s single goal at Burnley restored City’s lead at the top and they will be champions again with two wins in their final two games.

Liverpool haven’t won the title since 1989 and are yet to win the championship in the Premier League era.

Should they come second this term, they would have amassed the most points of any runner-up in a 38-game season.

Wenger, speaking on beIN Sport, stated that it’s almost “destiny” now for Liverpool to continue their run without a league title.

“There’s still hope but they go to Newcastle. Newcastle is not an easy place for Liverpool.

“I’m scared for Liverpool even with one game to go that Manchester City will already have won it but they will fight until the end.

“It looks like there’s a destiny that is against Liverpool. They dominated for such a long period in English football and suddenly from 89-90 until today they cannot win the Premier League. Every time there is small things against them,” Wenger said.
